Get your washing machine smelling fresh as new

Laundry
Use 1 pouch a week for 3 weeks, then continue using one pouch per month for maintenance.
1. Remove

All clothing and items from washing machine.

2. Pour

Tear 1 pouch and pour it into the washing drum. Do not add detergent.

3. Wash

Clean washer cycle. If your machine doesn’t have it, run a normal cycle with hot water.

4. Wipe

Any remaining residue with a towel and leave the door open to allow better ventilation.

Washer is dirtier after using this!
My washing machine did not smell bad and was not moldy. I just thought using this would be a good maintenance practice. When it was done, the machine was full of wet brown powder. I spent 10 minutes wiping it, and it is still there. It isn’t easy to wipe a rotating drum with holes in it. So frustrating. Don’t waste your money or time.

It has changed my laundry woes
I’m a new mom of a very stinky family of boys. I would wash their clothes and they would still have a smell of their stink AFTER! My husband works in a factory so about half way through the day after his clothes heat up, his sweat smell comes back. I found oxyclean powder crystals and poof!!! No more boy smell and my husband now gets compliments on his laundry smell. He was actually in a meeting and someone said “it smells really good in here..someone leaned over and said “oh it’s YOU”. That compliment speaks for itself. I bought a case of 5 after that!!

What does this product do?

OxiClean™ Washing Machine Cleaner helps remove odor causing residues in any washer.

What do I do if an odor problem or visible residue already exists?

IF ODOR PROBLEM OR VISIBLE RESIDUE ALREADY EXISTS:

Use 1 pouch per week for 3 consecutive weeks following the instructions below.  Then, continue to use 1 pouch per month for maintenance.

  1. For all machines, remove clothing or other items from the washer.
  2. Open one pouch of OxiClean™ Washing Machine Cleaner, and pour into the washer drum. Note: Do not add any detergent to this cycle.
  3. Select the Clean Washer Cycle
    4. Note: If washer does not have Clean Washer Cycle, add OxiClean™ Washing Machine Cleaner to drum and run a normal cycle using hot water.

  4. Start the machine.
  5. After cycle is complete, wipe any residue that may be left behind with a towel including on drum, door, rubber gaskets, and seals.  Leave the door open to allow better ventilation.
