If you’re not seeing a color change, that’s ok. Make sure you’re covering the entire surface of the litter box first and if you still don’t see a change that’s not unusual for results in the typical PH range. Urine is yellow and the typical PH range is yellow, so you may have difficulty seeing it. You will see more of a pronounced color change in Orange and Blue as indictors move out of typical PH range.
It’s expected to be 2 years from the time it’s bought (when stored according to label instructions).
Store with the cap replaced in a cool, dry place to get maximum shelf life.
Product works best with small particle size cat litters. If using non-clumping or litter with larger particles, you may need to assess color changes on the crystals on the bottom of the litter box as they may fall through the litter and the cat interacts with it.
Use enough to evenly and completely cover the entire surface of a fresh litter box.

This additive works with almost all litters, but works best with small particle size cat litters. Do not combine Health IQ™ crystals with other zeolites or baking soda as this may compromise color indicator accuracy.
For accurate identification of urinary health concerns, temporarily separate cats using their own litter box with Health IQ™ crystals.
Yes, you would still be able to use this product! However, the crystals may get buried in the litter and the color change may be harder to see or require closer observation. We suggest to add more product as needed.
