SHOWER SOOTHERS SODA
- INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda
- Bowl
- Spray bottle
- Silicone soap molds (or mini muffin tins)

- Food/soap dye (optional)

- Pour witch hazel into the spray bottle and spritz some onto the top of the powder mixture. Mix witch hazel in quickly with your hands, spritz more on top, and mix again until the mixture packs together nicely.
- Make sure not to make the mix too moist, or it will start to fizz.
- Scoop the mixture into molds one at a time and pack tightly so the mixture holds together.
- Prepare a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Wipe cooking spray off, leaving only a light film.
- Once the molds are filled, unmold and flip them onto the cookie sheet to dry in a warm, sunny place for at least 24 hours.
- Once dry, package the cakes into baggies or jars.
- To use, place 1 cake on the shower floor. The warm water will cause the steamer to fizz and melt, releasing soothing eucalyptus into the steamy air. (Please note: The floor may become slippery after using the shower soothers; use caution.)

KEEPSAKE SODA
- INGREDIENTS
- 1 ¼ cups ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda
- ¾ cup cornstarch
- ¾ cup water
- Parchment or wax paper
- Rolling pin or flat object (such as a plate)
- Straw
- Small paintbrush
- White glue
- Glitter
- Ribbon
- Clear sealant (optional)
- DIRECTIONS
- In a pot, mix clay ingredients (ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda, cornstarch, and water) together and set on the stove over medium heat.
- When the clay turns into a soft texture, like mashed potatoes, remove pot from heat to keep from drying out.
- Remove the clay from the pot and cover with a damp cloth to cool for 15 minutes.
- Once the clay is cooled, roll between two pieces of parchment paper to create a round of clay that is about 1 centimeter thick (any thicker and they tend to crack easily) and large enough to fit your child’s hand (or dog’s paw!).
- Press child’s hand firmly into the clay disc.
- Use a straw to put two holes above the handprint for the ribbon.
- To decorate with glitter, use a paintbrush to paint glue over clay. Tap the ornament to remove excess glitter.
- (Optional) When the ornament is completely dry, spray with a sealant or coat in Mod Podge to ensure that it stays intact.
- Thread the ribbon through the holes you made in the ornament, tie the two ends together, and enjoy your masterpiece!

- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¾ cup canned pumpkin

- Serve topped with butter, maple syrup, and spiced pecans if desired and enjoy!

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup corn syrup
- ½ cup water

- Remove pan from heat and pour in ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda. Whisk together for about 5 seconds and watch as the mixture bubbles up madly. As soon as it stops foaming, pour into the prepared pan.
- Let cool for 1 hour until the candy gets hard and then use a knife to carefully break into pieces.
